Rajasthan Royals registered their first win by beating Delhi Capitals by three wickets in a thrilling match. In the match played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, the Rajasthan team achieved an impossible goal on the basis of Chris Morris' match-winning innings.


Talking about the match, Rajasthan won the toss and invited Delhi to bat first. In reply, Delhi did not start well and lost their four wickets for just 37 runs. However, after this, captain Rishabh Pant (51) and the lower order batsmen of the team combined to bring the team score to 147 runs and gave Rajasthan a target of 148 runs.


For Rajasthan, Jaidev Unadkat took three wickets and Mustafizur took two wickets.

Chasing the target, Rajasthan also had a very poor start and fell five wickets for 42 runs. Although David Miller (62) tried to keep Rajasthan's hopes alive, he too was dismissed and returned to the pavilion. At one time it seemed that the Rajasthan team would lose the match and Delhi would easily win the match. But in the end Chris Morris scored 36 off 18 balls and gave Rajasthan a thrilling win by hitting four sixes in the last two overs.

For Delhi, Avesh Khan took the maximum three and Vox-Rabada took two wickets each.
